WebAug 27, 2024 · I just did this on a 2024 Road Glide Special with a tallboy seat and the non-adjustable Harley backrest. The stock bolts are 1/4x20 x3/4"., Go to the store and get 1/4x20 x1" bolts and 1/4x20 nuts (quantity 2 of each). Put the nuts between the forward bracket and the bike and use the stock locking nuts underneath. WebJun 18, 2015 · At 6'5" inches tall you are going to have an exhaustive search to find a seat that fits you right. A stock rider backrest is most likely out of the question as well. There area couple other riders on this forum that have been blessed (or cursed) with your height. Hopefully they will come forward with their experiences.

Because of its … WebMay 12, 2024 · The seat does add just a bit more height, and it looks a bit more 'bulky' on the freewheeler (especially the rear ) but the stock seat was built for an overall look versus comfort. Trying them out at an HD dealer is well worth it but be sure you pay attention to your arm stretch as well as your body position... cushy isn't the whole story.
